What do I get ?
There are two different booking options that are defined by the app and can vary per marina and individual mooring:
- Booking including marina fee
- Booking excluding marina fee
In case the mooring is defined including marina fee, the booking is a temporary rental agreement between the mooring owner (represented by Boatpark) and the renter.
In case the mooring is defined excluding marina fee, the booking entitles the renter to use the mooring availability information at check-in with the marina. The rental agreement is concluded upon check-in at the marina and payment of the marina fee by the renter directly to the marina authorities.
Boatpark is acting as an intermediary on behalf of the mooring owner but is not party to the rental agreement.
The owner allows the renter to use the mooring for the defined time and is responsible to ensure it can be used by the renter.
Be aware that moorings often are made available only a few days in advance when the owner decides to go on a trip himself. Should your preferred mooring not be available, please check again later.
The price indicated in Boatpark includes taxes and a provision for Boatpark for its service. Make sure you check the mooring description to see if the marina fee is included in the price given by the mooring owner. If the marina fee is not included, you need to pay the marina fee additionally directly to the marina authorities at check-in. Please check the marina web-site to see how much the marina charges (for link to web-site, please check the mooring description in the app).
Please check the mooring description if additional check-in at the marina authorities is required. This is always required in case the marina fee is not included in the Boatpark price. For easier check-in, please scan the required documents with the camera of your mobile device. This can be done in the app from your account screen. The scanned documents will be sent to the marina authorities together with the booking confirmation.
Any bookings made on Boatpark can be cancelled free of charge up to 10 days before the starting time of the booking. For later cancellations a cancellation fee will be charged. Please see Ts&Cs for details
Should you have any problems, e.g. the mooring is occupied at the arrival time, please contact Boatpark. We will get in touch with the owner and/or the marina and will try to resolve the problem. If the mooring cannot be made available for your use within 1 hr of the starting time for any reason whatsoever you will receive a full refund of your fees paid to Boatpark for this mooring and your booking will be cancelled.
